Analyst – Animal Agriculture Sustainability

Charlotte Talbott is a Sustainability Analyst on the RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness team for North America. Her work focuses on analyzing the transition and physical risks associated with the animal agriculture industry, providing insights to drive social responsibility, economic viability, and environmental stewardship within the animal protein and dairy sectors.

With a background in applied agricultural research and a passion for livestock sustainability, Charlotte has worked closely with research institutions, industry partners, and producers. She served as associate director of beef sustainability research at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. Her earlier projects related to precision agriculture technologies, regenerative grazing to mitigate climate change, and systems-based beef cattle management techniques.

Charlotte attended North Carolina State University, where she obtained a bachelor’s as well as a master’s degree in animal science.
