Senior Analyst - Consumer Foods

Paula Savanti is a senior consumer foods analyst. Her expertise includes branded foods, consumer trends, foodservice, and food retail.

Paula joined Rabobank in 2008, working for the Buenos Aires, Argentina office, where she was responsible for coordinating the economic analysis of the Argentine food & agriculture sector with an emphasis on grains & oilseeds, animal, protein and dairy. Paula moved to New York in 2015 to join the US consumer foods sector team. 

Prior to joining Rabobank, Paula worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C., where she participated in agricultural development projects in Latin America and Africa and was a co-author of the World Bank’s flagship publication “World Development Report 2008: Agriculture for Development”. Sponsored by ICICI Bank, Paula has also worked on microfinance projects for farmers in India. 

Paula holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina and a master’s degree in international development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
