Paula Savanti is responsible for developing research, strategic insights and commercial ideas on the US processed food sector. She is based in New York.

Paula transferred to RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness NY from the Rabobank Buenos Aires office in Argentina, where she worked as FAR's Argentina market specialist for the past six years, covering Grains & Oilseeds, Animal Protein, Dairy, Wine and Value Added Processing.

Prior to joining Rabobank in 2008, she worked at the World Bank in Washington DC for five years, where she participated in agricultural development projects in Latin America and Africa. She was a co-author of the World Bank’s flagship publication, World Development Report 2008 Agriculture for Development. Paula also worked on microfinance projects for farmers in India, sponsored by ICICI Bank.

Paula holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad de San Andres in Argentina and a Masters in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
