Rabobank to Go: Foodservice and Data – The benefits of data analytics

In this edition of Rabobank To Go, Rabobank’s regular foodservice publication, we look at the use of data analytics within the restaurant space. We discuss the different types of data generated within a foodservice operation and the benefits that data analytics can yield. We also provide an overview of recent performance of restaurants in the U.S. and we take a closer look closer at the challenges in the U.S. labour market. As in every edition, we provide an update of the Burger Index, which tracks the evolution of food input prices at a typical U.S. burger restaurant.
