Video: Changing the Soybean Trade Rhythm
With China’s implementation of 25% additional duties on US soybeans, both countries will have to show very different trading patterns throughout the year. China will try to buy soybeans continuously from Brazil rather than mainly in the March to August period. While the US will have to store soybeans longer and sell with a more continuous rhythm rather than so far mainly in the post harvest period from October to March.
